Hi, I am Jill Baker.

For the past two decades, I’ve worked in visual storytelling, focused on documenting people, places, and quiet, often overlooked moments.

My career began in New York City, where I was immersed in a fast-paced, visually driven environment that shaped both my eye and my approach. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with brands such as Coach and Sotheby’s - experiences that refined my sense of composition, storytelling, and attention to detail at a higher level.

After years in New York and California, I now call the mountains of Utah home, working with both local clients and those visiting from across the country. My work has taken on a more natural, lived-in perspective - rooted in light, landscape, and genuine connection.

Today, I photograph families, couples, and those spending time in the mountains with an editorial approach, balancing thoughtful direction with space for moments to unfold naturally. Whether it’s a short visit or a place you return to year after year, the intention is the same: to document it in a way that feels effortless, honest, and lasting.

My work is less about posing and more about presence - capturing subtle movement, quiet interaction, and the details that tell a deeper story.

I’d love to work with you.
